Emotion is NOT Logic

This sounds much more like a drama queen attempting to rationalize the irrational than something an educated psychological professional would print in public and attach her name to. Self-aggrandizing, self-affirming, self-congratulatory pap that amounts to circular reasoning. Without proof, she affirms that "emotional upheavals" (in other words, the inability to control emotion, a sign of immaturity) is a sign of intelligence, and argues that reality is merely a matter of opinion, backing this argument with the musings of (ahem) a philosopher.

If computers can make decisions without emotions or even the ability to think, then so (unfortunately) can humans. And just as with computers, there is a correlation between the quality of those decisions and the quality of the inputs on which they are based. Emotion is not logic and forms no part of logic. Rather, the best decision-makers employ logic tempered by ethics, and ethics are where the emotions, when carefully guided, come into their own.

The taxpayers who bankrolled this woman's education should ask for their money back.

P.S. Women ARE more inclined, as a whole, to base their decisions on feelings rather than logic. 

Men and women have the same basic emotions, but respond to them differently. Hormones play at least as large a role.
