I think that men see an asshole guy and women see a confident guy that goes for what he wants. 

What spreads the stereotype is that guys fail with women and see other guys that they think of as assholes having a lot of success.

At the time of his arrest, it was an allegation. He hasn’t been proved guilty or innocent. He was owed an investigation, especially as it is possible to end up with counterfeit money in your possession that you believed to be real.
